Washington Park

Welcome to Washington Park

You’ll be right at home in: Wash Park

Washington Park, known as Wash Park to the locals, is one of Denver’s most beloved communities.  At the heart of the neighborhood is a stunning 161-acre park featuring two lakes, lush landscaping modeled after George Washington’s gardens at Mount Vernon and almost three miles of trails for running, biking and other family-friendly activities.  Just a two-mile drive from Downtown Denver and quick access to the lightrail make this area an accessible gem in the heart of the city.

The Lifestyle

The park is constantly bustling with activity and residents have never ending opportunities to hit the trails, walk their dogs, join in on a volleyball game or find relaxation during one of many outdoor yoga classes.  The Wash Park recreation center sits in the middle of the park offering swim lessons for the many children in the area and other family-friendly activity year round.  Wash Park boasts some of Denver’s most acclaimed retail and restaurants along Old South Gaylord Street,  which was once home to Denver’s original trolley car.

Home Sweet Home

Wash Park itself is bordered by “mansion row” which houses the highest-priced homes in the neighborhood.  The area boasts many remodeled early 20th century Victorian homes, brick bungalows, or more opulent new builds.  The average home price starts around $720,000 in West Washington Park and $1.3 million in East Washington Park.  For a complete and up-to-date look at the current market data of East Washington Park or West Washington Park, including average price per square foot, average days on market and number of homes sold in the past few months, click on the respective links.
